Section 05 · BoardConnex

BoardConnex — traffic without measurement

The marketing site has the right SaaS funnel pages and people are reaching them; with no key events configured in GA4, we cannot tell whether a single demo was booked.

BoardConnex sits on the BoardConnex GA4 property. In the 12 months from May 2025 to April 2026 it received 1,494 sessions and recorded zero key events. The pages where conversions would happen exist; the conversion measurement does not.

Acquisition

Direct dominates the channel mix. Organic Search adds a small but real second tier; everything else is residual.

Top landing pages

The standard SaaS marketing-site funnel is in place: homepage, pricing, features, book-a-demo, FAQ, contact. People are reaching all six.

Sixty-eight sessions reached /book-a-demo over the year. Whether any of those sessions actually submitted the demo form is not knowable from the data — there is no event firing on submit and nothing flagged as a key event in admin.

Monthly trend

November and December 2025 are a clear traffic spike. The site usually runs 53–124 sessions per month; those two months ran 378 and 285. The bars below are scaled to the November peak.

What we cannot see

The November 378-session and December 285-session spike is unaccounted for. It probably reflects an outbound campaign or product announcement, but with no conversion measurement we cannot tell whether the spike produced demos, pricing-page contacts, or anything else.

The fix is mechanical

BoardConnex is the single biggest tracking gap of any property in scope and the easiest one to close. The form interactions and demo CTAs likely already exist in the page (or can be wired in 1–2 hours of dev) and just need to be flagged as key events in GA4 admin and configured to fire on form/CTA interactions.
